Now that Kyle Korver’s streak of whatever games with a made three is over, we can enjoy his performances for what they are, rather than in the framework of some arbitrary “record”.
6 threes in a single game is pretty good. For a lesser player, it would be a noteworthy achievement. But for Korver, it’s just another day at the office (where you just get to play a game all the time instead of having the soul sucked out by your carpet-box). The real notable thing about this game is that he blocked three shots. Like legit blocked three different dude’s attempts to score. He did it to Hibbert in the playoffs, and now he’s doing it to Stoudemire. No one is spared his quick hands and good defensive instincts.
