You have to feel bad for their fans. This must have been a heartbreaking loss. Then you remember that crazy buzzer-beater Tyreke Evans had a couple years ago, and you don’t feel so bad for them anymore. Then you think about how cruddy Sacramento is and you feel bad for them again.
Grizzlies fans, on the other hand, must be feeling pretty good as the team that they live their lives vicariously through won a meaningless regular season game in a sport that matters not one iota in the grand scheme of things. Try not to let existential despair cloud your view of Courtney Lee’s amazing game winner.
