Bojan Bogdanovic is one of the highest-performing rookies so far this season, averaging 11 points a game.
He shouldn’t even really count as a rookie though. 25 years old? This guy isn’t some fresh-faced kid. He’s a stout-hearted three-point assassin, his skills honed in the Euroleagues.
He had another good game tonight, his stats only slightly inflated by the three overtimes and the 46 minutes he played. Somehow he has earned the trust of the Nets coaching staff and was given the starting small forward spot from day one. Actually, looking at their roster it’s easy to see how it happened. Who else are they going to start? Kirilenko? Karasev? Russians are not allowed in starting lineups.
