Fans of the “Threes and Layups” style of basketball that is all the rage these days may want to refrain from clicking on this video. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Avery Bradley channeled his inner 90’s chucker (you know who I’m talking about) and scored 26 points, mainly on pull-up midrange jumpers just inside the arc. That combined with his mustache and I swear I was transported back in time a couple decades. And you know what? I enjoyed it. There’s something fun about watching a guy shoot the shots that Avery did tonight. Sometimes the whole “ball-movement get good shots wow such modern basketball” thing gets tiresome. I yearn for the glory days of bad shot selection.
