I don’t know about you guys, but I am always disappointed when I attempt to watch the Timberwolves. I realize that they’re a couple years away from being good, and that everyone’s still developing. I blame the media, who led me to believe that every game would be a Wiggins-LaVine dunk factory and Anthony Bennett would be something other than a platter of fermented organic waste.
Zach LaVine has shown flashes, which is about all you can ask for. He can dunk as advertised (though where are the windmills? I want windmills), and his jumper looks really good even when it doesn’t go in. He can also pass a little bit despite not being a point guard. All in all, I’d say he’s had a successful rookie season, except for the whole “second worst in total win-shares” thing.
