I haven’t been paying much attention to Ryan Kelly this year. That must have been some kind of instinctual self-defense mechanism, because he has been more garbagey than a landfill this season. Anybody who was intently watching his actions on the court would come away from the experience exhausted, disgusted, and questioning the existence of God.
If you don’t believe me, just look at his shooting this year: 33% from the field. That’s rookie-year Draymond Green territory right there. In the game before this one, he shot 3-of-17. That’s bananas. No scrub should be allowed to do that. Actually, all scrubs should be allowed to do that. That way, if they somehow got hot, it would make a sweet highlight video, and if they don’t get hot, I get to make fun of them.
The good news for Ryan is that he has to do a lot of work to become the worst Irish basketball player in the league. Johnny “Irish Kobe” O’Bryant has that one on lock.
