Am I the only who was really happy when the Pelicans got off to a good start and shut up everybody at Oracle? I hate it when home fans are happy. During that first quarter, any time those Warriors fans stood up and applauded, or when one of the Warriors players got all excited, I just yelled at my TV “Scoreboard! Scoreboard!”. You are not allowed to do anything but look at the ground while your team is behind by more than five points. That’s how it works.
Alas, the Pelican’s first quarter outburst was too good to be true. Despite being one of the hottest three-point shooters to end the season (do they make steroids for shooting ability?), Eric Gordon won’t hit 3 triples every quarter; and eventually the Warriors will start playing like the team they are. It’s all the Pelicans can do to make the games not laughable. They have exceeded my expectations already.
