My body is ready for the Bucks’ inevitable sweep at the hands of the Bulls. My hope would be that the Bulls can then take care of their second round matchup so Bucks fans can point at them and say “see, we had no chance of beating THAT.” I also hope that Derrick Rose goes off for forty in the next two games so we can say “When Rose is playing at an MVP-like level, there’s nothing you can do about it.” Basically, I want the series to be about how good the Bulls were than how bad the Bucks were. If the Bulls legitimately, actually look like a legit actual good team, that makes the excuses so much easier to say.
Otherwise my excuse will be “Khris Middleton shouldn’t be a number one scoring option on a playoff team.” And that makes it sound like I hate Khris. I don’t. I love Khris. I just don’t think he should be the number one option on a playoff team.
