Starting around 45 seconds into this video is the worst sequence of commentary that I’ve heard so far this year, easily beating out Stephanie Ready’s stilted “Oh no he didn’t!” from the last Hornets game. What’s up with teams replacing their perfectly good commentators with semi-literate drooling mongoloids? I liked Malik Rose. Don’t give me any mumbo-jumbo about “leaving for a front-office job”.
You can even tell how embarrassed the other commentator is on this one. That just makes it worse. I used to have excitement for watching the 76ers year. Now, I don’t know. Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel are a compelling duo, but not compelling enough for me to endure Alaa Abdelnaby.
