Hollis “All Hollis Breaking Loose” Thompson has lowkey been a very good three-point shooter over his three-year career. He shot over 40% on deep balls in his first two seasons and looks poised to do it again this year. There are just a few things holding him back from breaking into the NBA fan’s collective conscious.
First, he plays for the 76ers. If you’re in Philly you’re a scrub whether or not the stats bear it out.
Second, the stats bear it out. The Alcohollis’ offensive game is a “work in progress”. When I say “work in progress” that means that it really kinda sucks. He’s fairly useless when he gets closer to the basket and I’m pretty sure he’s never dribbled in his life. I could be wrong about that. But I don’t make a habit out of being wrong.
Third, uh, well I don’t have a third reason. It’s mostly the two reasons above. This description just sort of fizzled out, didn’t it?
