This may come off as heresy, given my nominal status as a Bucks fan, but I would so rather have Andrew Wiggins than Jabari Parker right now. There’s just no comparison. If Jabari scored 26 points tonight in the manner that Wiggins just did, everyone would freak out. Nonstop. But when Wiggins actually does do it, it’s like he’s expected to and no one cares.
My desires may not be fair to Jabari, what with his injuries and the whole “playing for a non-terrible team” thing. But the NBA isn’t about fairness. It’s about who is producing, and right now Wiggins is producing a hell of a lot more.
It’s cool, though, because when it comes to second-banana young prospects, Giannis totally has Zach LaVine beat.
Oh wait. I forgot about Karl Anthony-Towns! Dammit. Dammit. Dammit. Minnesota here I come.
