Another day, another case of a player who I definitely thought had turned the corner on their career. Mirza Teletovic looked good two years ago with the Nets, I thought. I know last year wasn’t his best, but man, if I had blood clots in my lung, you know what I would be doing? Crying nonstop. He gets a pass for that year.
Well, now he’s on the Suns and guess what, he kind of sucks! Shooting-wise, at least. What I thought was him turning a corner turned out to be him just walking straight down into the ground. If he doesn’t pick it up this year (he will a little bit, almost certainly), he’s got a one-way plane ticket right back to Europe from whence he came.
Or, if he’s still leery of planes a little bit, he’s got a boat ticket with his name printed right on it, ready to sail him back to Europe.
