We now have concrete proof that Zaza Pachulia, even in his old age, can be a starter on a good team. I don’t want to admit it given how annoyed I would get when he was in a Bucks uniform, but I’m going to man up and admit it anyway. I’m admitting it right now. Zaza can still contribute to wins. He did it last year and he’s doing it this year. He might not be able to jump over a sheet of paper but he makes up for it by dropping huge gooey loads of his savvy all over the court.
Since both Toko Shengelia and Nikoloz Tskishvilitivizitzikilishzi are out of the league, Georgian NBA fans will have to continue to pin their hopes on this guy. He’s seemed pretty durable so far so he might be able to hold out until Georgia manages to develop another NBA-quality player. Maybe they already have one. I don’t know.
