This is like a Shabazz Muhammad throwback video right here. I don’t know if you can technically have a “throwback” to something that was only two years ago but if you can, this video qualifies.
Much of this video is The Bazzed God turning to his old standby move, the lefty hook from eight to twelve feet. There’s a couple drives and a couple threes, but it’s mostly those weird hook shots. It used to be that that shot was the only way The Bazzed God could score, period. Things have come along way for him. Going from “looks like a bust” to “looks like an unorthodox scorer who can’t pass” is quite the improvement.
The only thing left for Muhammad is to stop making that funny face when he’s getting ready to shoot free throws. As long as he’s making that face I’m going to exploit it for thumbnail-generation purposes.
