What’s up with the Pistons? They’re the most bipolar team in the league, just as prone to blow out a team as they are to get blown out. Prior to this game, they had beat the Timberwolves by 27. Now they lose to the 76ers by 20? There must be some sort of motivational problems going on in Detroit. Andre Drummond maybe. His effort comes and goes, but the rest of the team seems pretty steady.
I have no answers. What I do have, though, are opinions, and my opinion is that Marcus Morris needs to take more shots. I said the same thing about Tobias Harris earlier this season, but it can be true for both of them. No one wants to watch a team where the leading scorer averages 16. No one. That’s not fun, it might be good teamwork or whatever, blah blah blah, chemistry, I don’t care. The fans want 40-point scoring nights, and DownToBuck at least wants people to score 25 sometimes.
