Seem weird to you? At least from my point of view it doesn’t seem like the kind of thing you say during a game where the Rockets shot and made the most three-pointers ever in a single contest. If there is a definition for “Rocket basketball”, it involves taking and making tons of threes. It also might involve lobs to Clint Capela. It does not involve three-point-chucking (yes, it’s still considered chucking even if they are all going in) role players making layups. Not unless you stretch the term past its breaking point.
Would Stacey King say “That’s Bulls basketball right there!” after a made Rajon Rondo three? Of course not.
