I’m running out of ways to say it: I’m #hypedforgaryharris. He’s playing so well lately that I’m almost worried that he’s peaking as a player. Please let me be wrong about that. How would I ever sustain my hype for Gary Harris if he reached his pinnacle as a 22-year-old averaging fourteen points per game? My more optimistic scouting report on him projects him to be averaging 22/4/3 by his sixth year in the league, numbers which will not only ensure that I remain #hypedforgaryharris, but will guarantee that even some casual fans will find themselves #hypedforgaryharris. With numbers like those, and considering he will still be paired with GOAT of all time Nikola Jokic, the national media will have no choice but to join the world in being #hypedforgaryharris, and then my viral social media campaign will have been a true success.
But I shouldn’t get ahead of myself. Gary Harris is quickly becoming my preferred Harris in the NBA (sorry Tobes), but if I hype myself up too much I will only be disappointed. So I’ll just leave it at this:
