The Jazz successfully limited J.J. Redick’s success from the threezone, where he was 3-of-7. Unfortunately, while doing that, they just fouled him way too much. Redick has never been the guy who draws a lot of fouls, but he shot ten free throws last night. This large amount of free throws has several implications:
-It makes this video lame because that is way too many free throws
-We can conclude that Steve Ballmer paid off the refs with free copies of Microsoft Office
-Redick has become Corey Maggette 2.0 but with a more reliable three-point shot (Clippers era Maggette, not Bobcats era)
Personally, I would have been much happier if Redick had scored 26 points by way of eight three-pointers and maybe one midrange jumpshot. But we can’t have everything we want in life. I’m reminded of that every day when I see the picture of Jennifer that I still keep in my wallet.
