Dënniß ßchrööder basically did it all for the Hawks tonight, and they still lost. Is it time for him to demand a trade to a different team so he can actually have a chance at winning some games in the playoffs?
Don’t waste too many brain cells on that question, because the answer is yes. It IS time for him to demand a trade. The Hawks are wasting his prime years by surrounding him with crap like Paull Millcrap and Dwight Howartybumhole. Those dudes aren’t winning players, and neither is ßchrööder until he gets shipped to a team that cares about being victorious in NBA basketball contests. The Hawks, for what it’s worth, seem to be prepared for his eventual departure; they signed Jose Calderon, presumably so that he could take over the reins when the time comes.
The only question that remains is: which team should he demand to be sent to? That’s another one you shouldn’t strain yourself too hard thinking about, because I already have figured this one out: the San Antonio Spurs!
Tony Parker is old. Yeah, he’s playing okay (for him) in the playoffs, but he probably won’t survive for much longer. They’ll need a new Euro PG so as to not mess with their playoffs-mojo, and ßchrööder can be that guy! Pop would love him, Kawhi would love him, and I bet the city of San Antonio would love him too.
