This is it. This is the career-defining performance for Kris Dunn. If he ends up being a perpetual All-Star, we will be able to pinpoint the start of his ascent to this very moment. And if he kinda sucks for the rest of his career, we can say that this game at least made it so he wasn’t a really big bust anymore.
Dunn kinda took over the game in the fourth quarter tonight, scoring a bunch of points and dishing some dimes to take down the heavily-favored Hornets. The Bulls roster isn’t good at all, but Dunn played his part in making it look good tonight. That’s what good players do. They elevate their team. Thus, following the hallowed precepts of logic, Dunn = good player.
Just forget about the 1 for 11 game he had before this one. That one doesn’t count anymore, you know why? Because this one just happened. Straight up. And what’s that I hear? Is that Timberwolves fans blubbering and sniffling? Yes! It is. How funny. You can’t un-trade him, guys. You’ll have to live with your mistake. Forever.
