One of the nicer stories of the off-season was Mark Cuban loaning his private jet to J.J. Barea so that the latter could fly in supplies to hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico. That’s something where I can’t even make a snide comment or racially insensitive remark about it. It was just a good thing to do. Puerto Rico needed and still needs more help than a few planeloads of supplies, but it was an appreciated gesture and he probably made the catastrophe easier to get through for a lot of people. And flying in needed supplies without fanfare was definitely way better than Mr. President going over there and lobbing paper towels into crowds of desperate people.
Since I can’t make jokes about J.J. Barea being from Mexico or whatever, I’ll have to make jokes about how short he is. These jokes will seem to be prompted by my frustration towards any Mavericks player who had a good game last night, but I assure you that is not the case. I would make “Barea is a midget” jokes no matter which team he went off on.
Man, have you seen J.J. Barea lately? He’s so short! He’s a manlet! Is that funny or what? Manlets, when will they learn? LOL. I wonder how it feels to be so short that half of high-school age girls are taller than you? He’ll never be a real man. LOL. LOL. LOL. Lots of laughs.
