Courtney Lee 26 Points Full Highlights (11/24/2017)

This is Courtney Lee’s career high in points if you ignore that year he played for the Nets and scored 12 ppg (coincidentally the same amount of games they won that year LMAO). Lee got way too many minutes relative to his skill level that season, and any accomplishments from that time should rightfully be ignored. In conclusion, Lee has never scored more than this for a real actual NBA team that is capable of winning games.

He got off to a great start in this one, hitting all eight of his shots in the first half to give him 19 points. Many players, maybe even most, would have started chucking in the second half to try and get a 40-burger. Not so with Lee. He knows his role, and “throwing endless shots at the rim like an insane person” is about as far away from that role as you can get. He stayed within himself, which resulted in only a few more buckets and only 26 total points.

I wouldn’t have blamed him if he wanted to chuck it up a bit. The hot hand fallacy is super fallacious, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t want him to score at least 30.
