Now that the Rockets are back to full health with Harden and CP3 out there, often at the same time, I expect nothing less than these types of performances from Capela every game. Every single game. Twenty points or more. Five dunks or more. All he has to do is roll to the basket and somebody, somewhere will be throwing him a lob. If he doesn’t get it into his head that he needs to have ten post touches a game (coughdwighthowardcoughcoughcough), he can keep doing this for years as far as I’m concerned. He’ll be like the new DeAndre Jordan.
The Nets’ fearsome defensive tandem of Tyler Zeller (LOL) and Timofey Mozgov (LMAO) just had no answer for the precision passing of Harden/CP3 and the elite catching/positioning ability of Capela. There were more wide-open looks for Capela in this game than I’ve ever seen him get. With that in mind, I have no idea why he didn’t score thirty. Maybe because Harden/CP3 are selfishly freezing him out of the offense.
