The good thing about having a big three (in this case, Khris Middleton, Giannis, and Bledsoe) is that sometimes one of the three can have not a great game and you can still win. Is that what Heat fans felt like? I think it is. The similarities are striking. We’ve got a LeBron (Giannis), and a Wade (Bledsoe), and a Bosh (Middleton). We also have a Mike Miller (Dellavedova) and a Carlos Arroyo (also Dellavedova). I’ll take one championship, please. Actually, make that two.
Bledsoe didn’t do much against the Pacers, but Middleton stepped in and delivered an efficient 27 points on 14 shots. Add in Giannis doing his normal stuff, and that’s a win my man! I’ve given up hope that Middleton we ever get his just recognition for averaging 20 a game this season, so I’m just going to enjoy it for myself.
