Jarrett Jack with the first Knick triple-double since Carmelo back in 2012. I don’t know what’s more surprising, the fact that the triple-double revolution of last year totally passed them by, or that Carmelo managed to dig 10 assists out of his crusty butthole. Or the fact that Jarrett “Out Of The League” Jack came back and got one like it was no big deal.
He needed two overtimes to acquire the requisite statisticals, and you know how I feel about that, but I’m going to let it slide this time. We’re not talking about a good player here. We’re talking about Jarrett Jack. He was good once upon a time, and maybe he’s not all that bad right now, but players like him don’t just go out there and get trip-dubs. Unless they’re named Ben Uzoh. God damn I want to find the footage of that performance.
