Luke Kennard finds ways to get his shot off. It’s a stereotype for people with his melanin levels, but he’s “crafty”. If he just tried shooting it inside the paint without doing a move or five first, it would never work. His release is too low, and he can’t jump high enough to make up for it.
Is it a bad thing that my first thought when I see him play is “miniature Luke Babbitt”? I might be the world’s biggest Luke Babbitt fan, so not a bad thing for me. For other people, though, that might be a problem.
