Antonio Blakeney Career High 21 Points Full Highlights (10/29/2018)

If the Bulls tank starts really picking up steam as the season goes on, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Antonio Blakeney drop a 40-burger à la Jordan Crawford. Strange to say about a guy who just now broke the 20-point barrier, but just watch him play. There’s no doubt that he can take the shots to do it. There’s no doubt he can make the shots to do it. He just needs the opportunity, the ultimate green light for an entire game.

I’ll be waiting. In the meantime, we can enjoy his chucking antics at the end of blowouts, the best time to enjoy players playing for themselves and no one else. Not saying that Blakeney can’t pass, or doesn’t want to pass, but he thinks he can make every shot. If he can shoot a midrange jumper after some dribble moves, he’ll do that. Because it’s going to go in.

Just like with the Wendell Carter vid I just made, this one is slightly sad because of how bad the Bulls got whipped by Klay Thompson. Blakeney is out there having the (NBA) game of his life, and the fans, instead of cheering, can be heard weeping. And the commentators, well. I wouldn’t be excited either if a team was in the process of almost dropping 150 on my team.
