Tristan Thompson has almost become more known for his exploits off the court than on, and that’s NOT OKAY. I don’t care which meat pocket he’s sliding into. I care about his dunks, his rebounds, and his laughable statement before the season where he said that the Cavaliers were still the best team in the East. That last one is iffy as to if it counts as “on the court” or not, but at least it’s basketball-related.
He had a good game tonight. His best game in a long time? The last time he had this many points was two years ago in the playoffs. He’s the very definition of an “opportunistic scorer”, so it makes since that his point totals will be limited. If he’s not catching lobs from Matthew Dellavedova (BTW Cavs fans you can totally have him back he sucks now) or grabbing rebounds and still finding the energy to put them back in instead of passing right back out, he’s not doing much on that end.
Also, you are now manually remembering all those fawning articles from when he changed his dominant hand for free throws. He’s regressed back to where he was before the switch, so that’s funny.
