Josh Richardson 27 Points Full Highlights (11/5/2018)

If Josh Richardson keeps this up, he’s going to find himself on the outside looking in when it comes to this channel. Not like he has any idea of my existence and if he did he wouldn’t care, but you know. This is the only way I can exercise some control over NBA players, you’ve got to understand.

He’s comfortably over the 20-ppg threshold right now, which is my unofficial cutoff, and shows no signs of slowing down. It took him a 9-point overtime to get there tonight, but he did. And I’m not happy about it. Or maybe I am, because the sooner he establishes himself as the least role-playery role-player on the Heat, the sooner I can ignore him and focus on Rodney McGruder instead. And Bam Adebayo, whenever that guy decides to start playing like the guy I was imagining him to be this season.

I’ve had my doubts about Richardson in the past, but it really looks like his offensive game is coming along nicely. He has some nice stuff going on in the midrage that I didn’t expect. That, plus the threes, plus the dunks, and you have an athletic Khris Middleton with less “Middle” and more “Number One Option”.
