Brook Lopez 28 Points/8 Threes Full Highlights (11/11/2018)

I’m not even mad that Brook Lopez didn’t score any more points in the fourth quarter. His third quarter was, perhaps, the greatest thing I have ever seen a Bucks player do in all my years as a Bucks fan. Giannis has done some amazing things, Jennings scored 55 as a rookie (so long ago that I barely remember tbh), but this was something else. When he hit his 7th three from Colorado Springs, I had involuntary muscle spasms that caused me to accidentally punch my cat, Japurri Purrker. It wasn’t too solid of a punch, luckily And it landed right on his fat little stomach, so he flopped over thinking it was time for belly scritchies.

But it wasn’t time for belly scritchies. It was time to bask in the radiant glory of Brook Curry, the third and tallest splash brother, raining endless threes on the stunned Denver Nuggets. He later added one more triple, giving him six in the quarter and eight in the game. I’ve been talking about how he’s willing to shoot threes from anywhere, but this was insane, even for him.

I guess I am a little sad that he didn’t get double-digit triples. He took a few in the fourth but misfired really badly on one, and in a close game you probably don’t want to just shoot whatever random three wherever you are behind the arc. But it would’ve been so much more fun.
