DTB’s Fun* Fact* of the Day*: Malcolm Brogdon leads the league in free throws made without a miss this season, with 22. Next in line, for those curious, is Mike Muscala at 15 and Tomas Satoransky at 14.

So, we’ve established that Brogdon has sick free-throw converting ability. That’s great, but that one skill, however important, is not enough to be a legit NBA player (just ask Blake Ahearn). Good news is, he’s also, somehow, a sick driver into the paint. He was maybe a little better last year, and I’m sure my perception is skewed, but it seems like he always finds a way to get a layup even though he’s got to be one of the slowest PGs in the league. It’s awkward, and sometimes he has to convert some really tough finishes, but he gets it done. Giannis could take a few lessons from him, on topics like “not charging into your defender” and “laying it up instead of dunking for some reason” and “how to win Rookie of the Year”.
