According to the Pistons commentators, the “old” Reggie Bullock is “back”. It probably escaped the notice of many of you that he was even gone in the first place. I was aware, but only vaguely; it’s hard enough to keep track of who’s doing good much less who’s not doing good. And Bullock has always kind of been a forgettable player. Case in point: he was the second-best three-point shooter by percentage last year and no one noticed except for a few Detroitians.
The other cool thing about his career is that he was involved in a trade with Shavlik Randolph.
He’s been a little rusty to start the season, either that or his hot shooting from last year was unsustainable. Or a little of both, that’s probably the most likely. He’s a solid starter who doesn’t need to touch balls all the time to be effective, but without the hyper-elite three-point shooting it’s a little iffier. Remember, I have no idea about his defense, because defense is something I simply do not care about. It’s probably okay, if only so that he can put “3 and D guy” on his business cards.
