T.J. Warren 25 Points/4 Threes Full Highlights (11/10/2018)

Stop marginalizing T.J. Warren right now.

It’s been better the last few games, but I had been getting quite annoyed at Mr. Kokoskov for the way he was treating Warren, who, don’t forget, is a walking bucket. A literal bucket with legs, walking around downtown Phoenix. He was this close to averaging 20 last year, and you know what young players do? They improve, they get better. Which means that he should be averaging WAY above 20 this season. Like 22-ish.

But no. I have no idea why you’d take your second-best scorer and just take repeated huge dumps on him, but that’s I guess how they do it in Phoenix now. Cultural relativity means I shouldn’t judge them for doing so, but I will anyway. Because all it takes is one trade demand and Warren is somewhere where he doesn’t get dumped on for no reason.

He showed tonight that he can do stuff other than last year’s “midrange and crafty finish” extravagnza. Now, he can draw fouls. And now, most importantly, he can shoot threes. And make them as well. He was 4 of 10 from deep tonight, if that tells you anything. He’s becoming a part of the modern NBA while not sacrificing what makes him HIM, so I repeat:

Stop marginalizing T.J. Warren right now.
