The Magic would be a whole lot better if they still had Andrew Nicholson, just saying. I was on the hype train for that guy for the whole time he was in the league, and even though it may be empty except for me at this point, I’m riding this thing until the track terminates and I plunge off a cliff to my death in a fiery explosion. Yeah, the years with him in the fold were mediocre to bad for the Magic, but so have the years since he left.
Terrence Ross is cool, but he’s no Nicholson. Can he provide any of these things:
-Three-point shooting
-Post moves
-Ability to solve physics problems
-Rebounding
-The adoration of DownToBuck
-Dunks
No. Maybe the first one, but that’s it. As I said, I like Ross. He’s a nice player when his jumper is going down. But Nicholson is a nice player ALL THE TIME. So if you want to join me on the Nicholson hype train, there’s plenty of room. We’re heading through mainland China right now and look to be doing so for the next few years.
