Bogdan Bogdanovic 22 Points Full Highlights (11/12/2018)

Just based on my observations of the Kings this season, I think it’s safe to say that Bogdan Bogdanovic was temporarily lending his powers to Nemanja Bjelica so that the team could still be good while he recovered from injury. Now that he’s returned to the court, he’s taken his powers back, reverting Bjelica to his previous state and resuming the dominance of the league he started in his rookie season. Is that a fair assumption? Because I was hyping up Bjelica really hard and he hasn’t been good for the last few games and I need a reason why.

This, friends, is the Bogdanovic of last year. No doubt about it. The only difference is that instead of setting up Willie Cauley-Stein for easy buckets, he was setting up Harry Giles. Which is a way more impressive feat. WCS is easy enough to set up. Giles… isn’t. Everything has to go right for Giles to score, and that’s what Bogey provides.

I’m still having a little bit of trouble believing that the Kings could actually be somewhat decent this year. With the addition of Bogdanovic (and the corresponding subtraction of Bjelica), they’re looking at a shot at an 8th seed. That’s not where any team wants to be, really, but for the Kings, that would be a huge success. I think they’ve been bad for the whole time I’ve been an NBA fan.
