Why does it feel like Jordan Clarkson isn’t having a good year even though he’s averaging more points than ever? Maybe it’s just me. Maybe I’m the one who expecting him to average 20 ppg in the absence of any competent scorers (besides K-Love but who really expected him to not be injured all the time). The Cavaliers’ horrid record has something to do with it to.
This is his first 20-point game of the season, I guess. He’d been in double-digits scoring-wise for the first 12 games without ever notching 20. Maybe that’s why I think he sucks. 20 is definitely the magic number that separates a “meh” scoring performance from an “okay” scoring performance. So for him, it’s been a whole season of “meh”.
And 24 is the dividing line between “okay” and “good”. Not 25. 24. I have been over this concept before, and everyone seems to agree. So congratulations Clarkson! You’re “good” now! The jersey you were wearing kinda ruined everything though. Did anyone even like the old Cavaliers’ blue and orange? The only cool part of that former look was the really 90’s looking basketball-net-explosion thing they had.
