Change my view: Bryn Forbes is more of a Stephen Curry than Trae Young is.
I just made a whole highlight video for each of these dudes, so I know what I’m talking about. I have expertise on my side. I saw that Young made only one three tonight, and it banked in so it doesn’t even count. I also saw that Forbes had 5 triples, and two of them were of the “dribble up the court and pull up” variety. He just ran up there and chucked them into the hole.
Technically, right now you could make the argument that both of them are more like Stephen Curry than Stephen Curry himself is. Injuries suck, but until he gets back on the court, can we even call him a basketball player? Perhaps not, but Forbes and Young are definitely both basketball players right now.
