I think Rudy Gay might be the only player that I ever excluded from my channel who never had a single All-Star appearance. He was a big-time scorer for a big chunk of his career, big-time enough for me not want to have to deal with his highlight videos, but he was never big enough time to actually be an All-Star. So he was in the kind of NBA purgatory that no player ever wants to enter: too good for DTB, too bad for All-Star games.
Khris Middleton is also in this category, but he doesn’t count because a.) he will probably make an All-Star game at some point and b.) Goran Dragic stole his All-Star appearance from him. As far as I know, Gay never had any All-Star appearances stolen from him, and the chance that he makes one at this point in his career is somewhere between 0% and 0%.
Now the OFFICIAL decision has been made to OFFICIALLY allow Rudy Gay on my channel. The only stipulation: he has to score twenty. No twenty, no video. Somebody tweet this to Gay so he knows exactly what the criteria are.
Then again, don’t tweet it at him. I don’t want him to think that he should be scoring twenty all the time. That would make my life harder than it needs to be.
