Noah Vonleh 14 Points/5 Assists/2 Blocks Full Highlights (11/23/2018)

Maybe Noah Vonleh’s way of staying viable in the NBA is to transform into a three-point specialist. A lot of players have done it, but not a lot of players in Vonleh’s mold have done it. That mold being the stocky, bruising, rebound-obsessed power forward type. He was four of seven from the threezone in this game, and he only made one shot that was worth the conventional amount of two points. If he does end up having a decade-long career where all he does is shoot three-pointers, NBA historians will be able to point to this game and say that this is where it all started. As long as they ignore that game Vonleh had while on the Bulls where he also hit four three-pointers. In fact, I’ll delete that video now so that nobody ever finds it.

Vonleh also had five assists in this game, but do not assume from his statline that he is reinventing himself as a passer in addition to a three-point shooter. The first of his passes was good, but made out of necessity due to his position double-teamed under the basket. Then the rest of his passes were just super lame. A passing wizard he is not. Or if he is, he chooses not to display that particular skill. I resent him a lot for making me show his assists even though they were lame. In fact, my resentment is so great that I will refuse to make any more videos for him unless he mails me a check for $25,000 and an autographed tube sock for my own personal use.
