I don’t even have to say the trade I’m thinking about right now that would benefit everybody. Kyle Korver is one of the pieces in this one-for-one swap. That’s all I’m saying. You know what I’m thinking.
The Cavaliers don’t seem to have much use for Mr. Fourth-Korver at the moment. There’s no LeBron around anymore, and his main value was being able to be a pass sponge for free assists. Since there’s no player that needs their assist total artificially inflated by spamming passes to him, he doesn’t get to play as much.
If the Cavs don’t want to do my proposed trade, they should probably trade him to somebody. He’s still good, in the sense that you can put him out there and he’ll make threes. I don’t really know about the other aspects of his game, but is there any way that he can do anything on defense anymore? Shooting is always in demand, though, so he can keep going for a few more years despite flaws in other areas.
