Jonathan Isaac 16 Points Full Highlights (11/28/2018)

I have no idea why the Magic got John Hammond to be their GM, because he didn’t do much of anything for the Bucks, but they did, and he’s doing the same thing in Orlando that he did in Milwaukee. Which is: acquire as many lengthy players as possible. It used to be that they would go for the absolute opposite, which is why they ended up with J.J. “T-Rex Arms” Redick.

Mo Bamba was this year’s lengthy draftee. Last year was Jonathan Isaac, the hero of this movie. The idea of a skilled, tall, springy player is alluring; what could be better in the NBA world? A player like that has unmatched versatility on the court, and Isaac ticks all the boxes. Except, maybe, the “skilled” part. Not like he’s unskilled, but there’s a lot of polish needed before he reaches his potential.

I’ve talked about his janky jumper, but he’s already ahead of Giannis, the ultimate skilled, tall, springy player, in that category, so he’s got that going for him.
