It was sweet when Ryan “ArchGOAT” Arcidiacono, who is the American Steve Nash, scored 22 last game. It was not sweet when he did so against the Bucks. I like it when role-players exceed their role and do great things, as long as they do it against teams that are not from the state of Wisconsin. Any other day I would’ve been so hyped for ArchGOAT. Instead, I was mad. I’m disgusted at myself for that, but I can’t deny the way I felt while watching this game.
It seemed like three possessions in a row where all the Bulls had to do was swing the ball to corner where Arcidiacono was waiting to splash a three. And did he have to be so handsome while doing it? Looking at him and then looking at Matthew Dellavedova on the bench… god damn.
Now that the rage has worn off a bit, I can be happy that this dude has had two great games in a row. With the promise of more to come. Sadly, the devastating Arcidiacono/Blakeney tandem is no more, because Antonio Blakeney is regressing back into the inefficient chucker that he is instead of the efficient chucker that he briefly was. But there is no regression for ArchGOAT. Not this time.
