It’s been demonstrated time and time again that Tim Frazier needs big, consistent minutes in order to be a useful player. He’s not going to be any sort of sparkplug off the bench. That’s what the Wizards found out, and they ended up not using him (even though he’s better than John Wall, don’t even think about @ting me).
I had kind of given up on him ever putting up the same stats he did during his first little stint in New Orleans (I was doing a vid every game for him by the end of that). But the Pelicans have been kind of garbagey lately, and what better way to reinvigorate the team than by moving Jrue Holiday to SG and starting Mr. Assists at PG?
It worked. The Pelicans dominated, and Timmy Buckets got a sweet 12/12 game. Not gonna lie, I’m pretty excited right now. Down Goes Frazier has been one of my favorite players since that first stint with the Pelicans, and when the Bucks waived him, I hoped and prayed that he would find a team that would let him be himself.
