It didn’t feel like much while watching it (yeah, I watched this game just to see the Warriors lose, you got a problem with that?), but Jonas Jerebko’s 20 points tonight falls only 2 short of a career high. He’s been a pretty good role-player for literally a whole decade, and his career high is only 22 points. That seems pretty crazy until you realize that his minutes have been really low ever since his Achilles injury. He’s getting more minutes now than he has since he first came back from that injury, so it makes some sense that he would score more points.
The tragedy with this video is that it’s not using the Warriors home feed which presumably had a million plus one replays of the skyhook he pulled out on OG Anunoby. That was a sick play, maybe the sickest thing I’ve ever seen him do (and I’ve seen him do a lot of sick things, mostly involving Swedish meatballs), and those goons at TNT couldn’t even show us one replay. I guess there were too busy trying to figure out which angle of Drake (looking like Fred VanVleet) to show. They shouldn’t allow people like him to go to games. And by “people like him”, I mean paralyzed people.
