Ian Clark 17 Points Full Highlights (4/3/2019)

Tell me if this combination of events sounds familiar:

-New Orleans Pelicans
-Chucker shooting guard
-End-of-the-season game
-Points scored is less than field goals attempted

If those things reminded you of Jordan Crawford, you’d be correct! Jordan Crawford did those things for the Pelicans two years ago (or is it three? five???) and now Ian Clark is doing the same. The main difference between the two is that Clark doesn’t have a reputation as a chucker, while Crawford’s whole career is basically defined by unconscionable chucking that makes Antoine Walker look like Kyle Anderson.

Clark took eighteen shots in this game to score seventeen points. Normally I don’t reward players who are so inefficient, but Clark’s season-high is only eighteen points, so I had no choice in this case. However, to anybody past and future who is watching this video: remember that Clark didn’t have a good game. He had a bad game. Just because he got a highlight video doesn’t mean he played well.
