Al Horford is one of the more underrated players in the league. He put up 17 and 10 this season and no one even cared. Well, maybe you did. That does not disprove my point.
Once Josh Smith leaves for Milwaukee or Dallas or wherever the Hawks will be Horford’s team. He’s gonna put up 20 points on good efficiency as the focal point of the offense while also playing stingy defense. And still no one will notice, because he plays in Atlanta and the only thing people care know about Atlanta is that Matt Ryan is a huge choker.
Which leads me to this question: How can Atlanta Falcons fans call him Matty Ice when he sucks in the clutch and in the playoffs?
