Pero Antic looks like Carlos Boozer. This is all I have to say on the matter.
Alright, fine. He is also Macedonian. But he’s not from a country called Macedonia, because the Greeks were/are being total bungholes. He is instead from a country called “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”. FYROM for short. Isn’t that messed up? I don’t care if a bunch of Greeks consider themselves “Macedonians”. They live in Greece, they are Greek. Exclusive ownership of the term “Macedonia” is not theirs, and they have no right to deny its use. Do people from the state of Georgia disallow European Georgians their demonym? The whole issue is indicative of the overarching regulatory problems that plague international relations.
