Okay. So now we know that the fifteen points Allonzo Trier scored in his rookie debut were not a fluke. A fluke would not happen twice. That would contradict the very definition of a “fluke”. We can say with relative certainty that Trier is a player who is easily capable of scoring fifteen non-flukey points in an NBA game.
I’m not sure what to do with that information. I suppose I can use it to guide my decisions when Trier is putting up scoring performances on the fringe of highlight-worthiness. Like, if he scores thirteen points in a game, am I gonna make highlights? No way. He’s already set the minimum at fifteen. That’s way better than most rookies can say. Most rookies are still waiting for a taste of the sweet nectar that is a DTB highlight video.
Unrelated, but I would like to point out that I correctly spelled Allonzo with two L’s and I didn’t even have to think about it that hard. If you need me, I will be over here praying to Jesus that Alonzo Gee doesn’t sign with a team and re-confuse me.
