I get inordinately excited when I’m about to make highlights of a player for the first time. It’s sort of like adding another piece of 70’s vintage McDonalds glassware to my collection, except instead of a glass with the Hamburglar on it, it’s a video of a basketball player scoring points.
Elliot Williams’ four-year career up to this point has been a parade of misfortune. He’s had three injuries that have removed him from action for a significant amount of time, which begs the question, why would anybody waste money signing a guy whose body is obviously a ticking time bomb? I’m going to set up an alert on my phone to tell me whenever he enters the game, just so I can witness the exact moment when his torso spontaneously explodes outward, showering teammates, opponents, and spectators alike with steaming, bloody entrails. Then I will point back to this video and say, “I told you! I told you his body was on the verge of catastrophic structural failure!”
