C.J. McCollum’s good performance is this game might as well have not even happened, as it was completely overshadowed by Steph Curry scoring 45 and breaking his own record for made threes in a season.
But what if I told you that McCollum was Curry-lite? Stay with me on this. McCollum shoots threes really well. Not as well as Curry, but really well nonetheless. McCollum has some point guard skills, but he’s mostly a pure scorer, kinda like Curry. The similarities don’t end there. They both have non-threatening appearances since they both have chubby babyfaces. MCCollum would have to get an eyebrow trim if he wanted to make a splash on the national stage (those things are on like Armenian levels of thick and dark), but otherwise, his face screams “I’m likeable and marketable!”
The only thing standing in the way of McCollum becoming Curry-lite is Damian Lillard. I demand off-season trades!
